Beth Goldsmith joined the Miami-Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works team as Chief Strategy Officer in December of 2023. DTPW is the largest public transit agency in the state of Florida and is ranked 18th largest amongst transit agencies nationwide according to statistical data gathered by the American Public Transportation Association in its 2022 Public Transportation Fact Book.  In her role, Ms. Goldsmith oversees performance analysis, quality assurance, business solutions/systems, and strategic initiatives and acquisitions for the Department.   Ms. Goldsmith previously served in various roles in Miami-Dade County, including Program Director for Technology Vendors as well as Chief Negotiator.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Bachelor’s degree in English as well as a Master’s degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Miami.
