Em Burnett is a civic technology organizer and open source project manager based in Portland, Maine. They have managed local political campaigns, worked as a communications consultant and helped build and steward Code for America's volunteer  network for several years prior to joining the Open Mobility Foundation. In their free time, Em enjoys coastal island living, hiking, befriending dogs and writing.
