George Kivork is General Manager for the Los Angeles region, bringing a unique blend of legal, policy, and communications expertise to lead Archer Aviation's regional launch. An attorney by training, George has advised public advocacy campaigns, business executives, and policymakers across sectors.Most recently, he led state and local policy efforts at Joby Aviation, helping shape legislation and advance vertiport business development. Prior to that, he served as Senior Policy Manager at Lyft, overseeing regulatory strategy to support the market across California and the Southwest.Earlier in his career, George held senior roles with the City of Los Angeles—including managing the City’s federal affairs office in Washington, D.C., and serving as press secretary under Mayor Eric Garcetti. He also worked in the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Commerce and practiced law at O’Melveny & Myers.George is a graduate of the University of Southern California and Georgetown Law.
