I'm Jan van der Wel. I founded Technolution / TNL in 1987 with three other enthusiastic techies. My bachelors degree studies were about mechanics, electronics en embedded software. I graduated on the subject communication systems for home land security services.

During my work, Technolution / TNL has grown to about 280+ bachelor and master degree skilled techies. They are passionated to design and build sound technical systems and instruments that include electronics, logic and software. Results include advanced stand-alone instruments and sensors to complete national IoT based control systems that require governance based on legislation and (cyber) security.

With our groundbreaking R&D, we became an expert at the design and build of mission critical systems, sensors and instruments within Mobility, Utility, Defence, Aerospace and Semicon sectors.

I’am thrilled to announce that our R&D led to the world’s first dynamic multi-mode traffic optimisation system which is now fully operational in the United States! 🚦

With over 180 AI Edge sensors (FlowCube) deployed, we're gathering real-time data to feed our Traffic Flow Engine, which performs an astounding 20,000 simulations per second per intersection across 44 intersections, calculating the optimal traffic state for each. The early results have been incredible!
