Madame Yvonne Eyidi first dedicated her career to midwifery, assisting many women during childbirth. Driven by a profound commitment to the well-being of her community, she later transitioned into public service and was elected Mayor of the Nkongsamba 3rd district municipality.In this role, she spares no effort to improve the living environment and conditions for the local population. Her impactful work and significant achievements have been recognized at the highest national level, earning her the distinguished honor of Knight of the Order of Valour.Her leadership and expertise are also acknowledged on the national and regional stage. She served as Vice-President of the Cameroon and Central Africa chapter of the Network of Local Elected Women (REFELA), where she championed the advancement of women's leadership in local governance.
