Design Intern

CoMotion is seeking a proactive design intern who has experience in copywriting and marketing. This is an excellent opportunity for students, recent graduates and junior-level designers to take an active role in advancing the development of an ambitious, international portfolio of events, and to develop their skills and gain experience within the mobility ecosystem.

This position is remote but includes an opportunity to assist on-site at the CoMotion LA event in Los Angeles (Nov. 12-13) and CoMotion MIAMI event in Miami (April 28-29). Travel, accommodation, and expenses included.

Key Tasks

• Collaborate with a close-knit design team to create engaging marketing materials for various projects and campaigns.
• Research design trends, competitors, and suggest creative ideas for visual assets and campaigns.
• Assist in coordinating marketing, managing files, facilitating communications with team members and partners.
• Create and prepare graphic assets for digital and print.
• Support the team in preparing newsletters, presentations, decks, and materials for client meetings.
• Attend design reviews, meetings and team calls.
• Develop organizational systems for design files to enhance team efficiency.
• Carry out other design-related duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience Required

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Achieved or pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Proficient in using design softwares and platforms: Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Slack, Google apps.
• Experience posting content on social media (Linkedin, X, Instagram) and creating assets in various sizes and dimensions.
• Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and positive attitude.

Nice to Have

• Experience using softwares and platforms: Airtable, Bizzabo, Webflow, Substack.
• Experience creating videos or animations.
• Proficiency in additional languages.

This is a part-time position with potenital for full-time (16-24 hrs/week to begin). Salary dependant on experience.
