Ms. Bravo, President & CEO of Alice Bravo & Assoc., has held significant transportation leadership positions that have contributed to improved transportation in South Florida.  As an FDOT Director, she developed the 95 Express Project – Florida’s first congestion pricing project.  It’s success, led to the implementation of express lanes throughout Florida.  She also led the development of the Port of Miami Tunnel Project - arguably the most complex transportation project ever built in the State of Florida, in addition to numerous other projects. As Deputy City Manager for the City of Miami, she oversaw 6 City Departments, and implemented numerous projects including the development of the City's Trolley System. As Director of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) for Miami-Dade County, she developed the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) Plan and developed and secured funding for the South Corridor Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project currently under construction along 20 miles of US 1 in South Miami-Dade - securing the County's first Federal Transit Agency Corridor grant in over 25 years.  She also spear-headed programs for autonomous vehicle circulators, EVTOL technology, replaced the County's Metrorail fleet, replaced most of the County's bus fleet, developed a program for SMART traffic signals, modernized the county's fare collection system with contactless payment options/apps, implemented numerous other transportation improvements and spearheaded Transit Oriented Development along the Metrorail.  She now has her own consulting firm and chairs the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Transportation Committee, as well as co-chairing the Broward Workshop’s Transportation Committee.
