Ashley Hu is the cofounder and Head of Investment Research at Invest MENA, and a key communicator and thought leader, effectively bridging Chinese and international capital markets. Her career spans pivotal roles across the public, private, and multilateral sectors, providing her with a unique 360-degree perspective on cross border investment, business global expansion and government relations.Ashley previously held positions as Senior Investment Specialist at the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism, Investment Manager at Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund, Khazanah Nasional, where she managed the Greater China portfolio across all sectors. She is also a United Nations alumni.Ashley's academic training is multidisciplinary. She holds a Master of Public Policy and an MBA from the University of Chicago. She also earned two bachelor's degrees: Bachelor of International Economics from China Foreign Affairs University and Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical School.
