
Carley Markovitz
Carley Markovitz is a Principal with Rebel Payments, Mobility & Insights based in Los Angeles. Carley is focused on addressing intersectional issues influencing urban mobility and is passionate about helping transportation agencies and partners deliver impactful policies, programs, and initiatives. She is currently advising on mobility payments projects across California, including supporting the launch of contactless payments with multiple transit agencies and developing incentive programs to encourage sustainable travel. Carley was also involved in securing the bid for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and continues to advise agencies on their key initiatives to support the delivery of a successful event and legacy strategy. Carley's multi-disciplinary background includes experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining Rebel, Carley ran the LA office for Nelson\Nygaard, worked in transportation planning at AECOM, and in environmental planning and transit operations at LA Metro. Carley received a BA from Dartmouth College and a Master of Planning and Public Administration dual degree from the University of Southern California.
