Carlos Acha Ledesma holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and an Executive MBA from Instituto de Empresa. Since July 2023, he serves as Director of Technology and Innovation at EMT Madrid, driving the company’s digital transformation to deliver efficient, connected, and customer-centric services.Previously, Carlos spent over two decades at ALSA, Spanish transport operator part of National Express Group, playing a key role in its growth and international expansion. He led ALSA Chile as Managing Director (2001–2004), then served as Director of Organization and Corporate Services for 10 years. In 2014, he became Chief Operating Officer (COO), and in 2021, Chief Digital Officer (CDO), spearheading digital initiatives and operational excellence. He was a member of ALSA’s Executive Committee from 2004 to 2023.
