Dr. Kai Stepper is the Vice President of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) at Lucid Motors, reporting directly to interim CEO Marc Winterhoff. In this global leadership role, Kai oversees all ADAS and AD initiatives, including product development, strategy, engineering, and strategic partnerships.
With more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, Kai brings a wealth of expertise spanning engineering, research, product development, and marketing across both the United States and Germany. Prior to joining Lucid, Kai served as Vice President of Automotive at Qualcomm, where he led the expansion of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. into the automotive sector.
