Marisol has more than 15 years of professional experience in the field of urban planning & development in the local government, academia, and third sector organisations. Currently, Marisol is Director of Public Works of the Municipality of Renca, in Chile, where she previously worked as Head of the Urban Planning Unit. Her professional experience focuses on territorial governance, urban mobility, public space, citizen participation, urban innovation and social inclusion. She has a PhD. in Development Planning and MSc. in Urban Design in Development from Bartlett Development Planning Unit, University College London; Architect from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
