
Drew Hallman
Drew Hallman is the Investment Director at güil Mobility Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Grupo Kaufmann, Latin America’s leading commercial vehicle distributor. At güil, Drew oversees the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio management. The fund invests globally in early-stage startups (Pre-Seed to Series A) focused on mobility and robotics.
Drew brings more than 17 years of experience across venture capital, startups, and finance. Before joining güil, he co-founded Autolab, a mobility-tech startup transforming Latin America’s car repair industry by introducing transparency, trust, and a digital customer experience. He spent five years in venture capital at Polymath Ventures in Bogota, where he helped launch and scale early-stage companies across emerging markets. He began his career in finance, spending seven years at HSBC in New York, where he gained deep experience in corporate banking and capital markets.
A graduate of Tufts University, Drew is passionate about bridging global capital with emerging-market innovation, helping connect Latin American founders to international investment networks and strategic corporate partners. His work sits at the intersection of technology, mobility, and sustainability, where he focuses on identifying founders shaping the future of how people and goods move.
