Gina Evans Dew has served as the Director of Government and Community Relations for the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority since December of 2012.  In this role, she represents the Authority’s four airports at the local, state, and federal level while managing the airport’s community efforts including minority contracting efforts.  During her time at the Authority, she has secured over $500 million in grants and helped to enact policies supporting the airport’s efforts.She is the Vice-Chair for the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Federal Affairs Committee, Chair of the AAAE International Facilitation Committee and co-chairs the Authority’s internal committee on Advanced Air Mobility.In addition to her duties at the Authority, she was appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to the Florida Commission on Community Service.  She also serves as Chair of the Development Committee for the Museum of Science and Industry, member of the Hillsborough Transportation Policy Organization and is a member a of both The Junior League of Tampa and Florida Blue Key. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Master of Arts in Mass Communications degrees from the University of Florida. She was named one of Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Up and Comers for 2015, Top 10 under 40 for South Tampa Magazine in 2019 and is a graduate of Leadership Tampa Class of 2019.
