Ebrima Sillah has twenty five years of uninterrupted journalism experience in both the electronic and print media fifteen years of which have been spent with the international media and international development organizations.Prior to his appointment as Minister of Transport, Works and Infrastructure, Hon Ebrima Sillah served as Minister of Information and Telecommunication Infrastructure from 2018 to May 2022.Before his appointment as Minister of Information and Communication Infrastructure, Mr. Sillah was Director General of The Gambia Radio & Television Services (GRTS) from 2017 - 2018.The New Minister of Works has solid experience in managing and supervising large scale multimillion dollar projects covering the entire continent as well as country specific thematic areas having served as the Pan African Radio Platform Project Coordinator for Panos Institute West Africa (PIWA) funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation covering the entire continent, as well as project coordinator in Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal and other countries. Mr. Sillah also has high level experience in information management, advocacy in media, human rights promotion and campaign strategies on development issues.
