
Jacob Sherman
Jacob Sherman, MBA, is the Mobility Innovations Manager at the Portland Bureau of Transportation where he is responsible for leading efforts on new mobility and emerging technology for the bureau. He brings more than 15 years of experience managing projects, programs and partnerships to the role. His team is currently working on a variety of topics that advance the city’s climate, equity, and safety goals, including transportation electrification, freight decarbonization, private for-hire regulations, automated vehicles, shared micromobility, and more. He holds a Master's in Business Administration from Portland State University and a Leadership in Sustainability executive education certificate from Harvard University. Outside of work, Jacob currently serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Milwaukie, Oregon, and he has successful experience advocating around a variety of community development, transportation, and environmental issues.
