Jorge Valens, Innovation Manager for Miami-Dade County's Information Technology Department, co-leads the Innovation Team’s research & development and artificial intelligence efforts. He brings ten years of experience in public administration, government innovation, technology, and product management. Before joining the County in 2021, Jorge worked for several South Florida government organizations and began his career as a business reporter and new media innovator.
