Katie Zehnder is a Digital Infrastructure Solutions Leader at HNTB, where she leads national teams delivering complex transportation modernization and technology programs for state DOTs, cities, transit agencies, toll authorities, airports, and emerging mobility organizations across the U.S. With more than 25 years of experience, Katie specializes in helping public agencies navigate digital transformation, connected and automated mobility, data governance, and large scale program delivery by bridging policy, technology, and implementation to move innovation from strategy to reality. Her work spans advanced mobility, intelligent transportation systems, digital delivery, and infrastructure modernization, with a strong focus on actionable outcomes for public-sector clients. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Union College and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Case Western Reserve University. She is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE), and Certified Planner (AICP).
