Maja Vukićević is the current Minister of Transport in the Government of Montenegro, appointed in the 44th government reconstruction on July 23, 2024. She has served two terms as a Member of Parliament, elected in 2020 and 2023 from the "For the Future of Montenegro" list. In the Parliament of Montenegro, she has held prominent roles, including Chair of the Legislative Committee and member of several key committees. Internationally, she has twice served as Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and was a member of its Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights from 2021 to 2023.
