Nate Ward is the lead of Charging Equipment Sales and Network Development at BETA Technologies, a Vermont-based aerospace company developing electric aircraft to serve both cargo and passenger missions. In this role, Nate’s team manages the sales and installation of BETA’s multimodal aircraft chargers, working to deploy charging stations and vertiports. The charging products are developed in-house by the BETA team and deployed across the U.S. Nate also supports BETA’s broader business development efforts and partners with several AAM government engagement groups across the industry.  Nate is listed as an inventor on several patents, including those for electric charging stations with integrated thermal management systems and locking mechanisms for electric propulsion systems. These innovations are vital for the safety, efficiency, and reliability of scaled electric aircraft operations. Nate is also an active private pilot and is currently working on his instrument rating.
