Norah Ocel is the Program Manager for the Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office (ITS JPO)’s Safety and Stakeholder Engagement Program at USDOT.

With over 20 years of diverse experience in federal, local, and private sectors, she has been dedicated to enhancing roadway safety. Her program focuses on promoting technology that has the potential to saving lives and reducing serious injuries at scale on our roadways.

Norah holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering, specializing in Transportation Engineering. She is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Virginia and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
