
Tim Fremaux
Tim Frémaux works as a Principal Transportation Engineer for the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, overseeing three divisions: Design, Permit Plan Review, and Interagency Design and Coordination. Collectively, these teams are responsible for traffic signal design, geometric design, construction management, and plan review and coordination in support of government agencies, neighboring cities, airport expansion, bridge projects, water and power projects, and private development. Tim has worked for LADOT for 24 years in varying capacities including servicing requests from the public and elected officials in District Operations, as lead engineer for the City’s Vision Zero transportation safety program, and as project manager for bicycle infrastructure projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Tim grew up in Los Angeles, Connecticut, and Strasbourg, France. He lives in Burbank with his wife and four year old daughter. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, and playing pickleball.
