
Tomas Carranza
Tomas Carranza has over 30 years of experience in transportation planning and engineering with the City of Los Angeles. He serves as LADOT's Chief Technology Officer and Assistant General Manager where he oversees the Office of Planning & Innovation. This team includes the Bureaus of Parking Management, Commercial Rideshare & Mobility Administration, Applications & Data, Transportation Planning, & Project Development. Tomas leads the team that created the LADOT Mobility Investment Program, an advanced planning effort that has helped the City successfully secure over $500 million in grant funds for projects that advance safety, sustainability, and equity objectives. He has led the teams that delivered award-winning programs including the Universal Basic Mobility program, Pandemic Travel Behavior Study, and the Zero Emission Delivery Zone program.
