Viktoriya Wise is the Director of Streets for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA). The 2,000+ employees she oversees are responsible for improvements to San Francisco’s street, transit, bicycle, pedestrian and parking infrastructure. Ms. Wise believes deeply in the Street’s Division’s mission to create safe streets, support economic vitality and increase equity through the delivery of projects and services. She served as the Streets Division’s Chief of Staff for seven years and as the agency's Chief of Staff for three years. Prior to joining the SFMTA, Ms. Wise spent 10 years at the San Francisco Planning Department in various roles, including Deputy Director of Environmental Planning Division. She also served on the San Rafael Planning Commission from 2009 to 2017.
