Liza Josias leads Global Ecosystem Development at Eve Air Mobility which is developing an eVTOL aircraft, an urban air traffic management solution and a suite of services to support eVTOL fleet operators. With over 20 years of experience in human-systems integration in aviation, she collaborates with governments and industry to prepare cities for safe, accessible and sustainable urban flights. She has contributed to numerous Urban Air Mobility Concepts of Operations that have been tailored for and tested with many international cities. These CONOPS examined the technological, infrastructural, and regulatory requirements needed to launch and scale UAM.  She also regularly engages with stakeholders to listen and understand the ways in which UAM must deliver benefits and address different community priorities. Her experience spans research, operations, and future aviation planning in Europe, Australia, Brazil and the United States. Liza is passionate about democratizing UAM and believes that it can have positive community impacts. UAM can simplify urban mobility, particularly for people with disabilities, accelerate how we decarbonize mobility, and create myriad economic opportunities for future generations.
