
Marie Sullivan
Currently serving as Transportation Planning Leader at Arup, Marie specializes in shaping complex infrastructure projects, sustainable mobility networks, and transit-adjacent developments across the West Coast.Throughout her career, Marie has established a strong track record of executing first-of-their-kind public-private partnerships. During her time with LA Metro, she negotiated landmark infrastructure agreements, including the Bloc-Metro Connection and the Bunker Hill/Grand Ave Arts Bridge. Her leadership extends into large-scale housing production, having managed LA Metro’s largest housing development partnership to deliver nearly 1,500 units at one of the system’s busiest transit hubs.In addition to her professional practice, Marie is an active advocate for equitable mobility and resilient urban growth. She serves on the Board of Directors for Move LA, where she helps champion policy and investment for high-quality public transit and transit-oriented housing throughout Los Angeles County.Marie holds a degree from Pomona College and maintains active AICP certification through the American Planning Association. Passionate about tackling non-traditional urban planning challenges, she continues to focus on integrating transit infrastructure, housing equity, and forward-looking city design to build more connected and sustainable communities.
