Yariel Diaz is Director of Government Affairs at Serve Robotics, where he works at the intersection of technology, policy, and community impact to advance autonomous delivery across the U.S. He partners with lawmakers, regulators, and local stakeholders to develop the frameworks needed for safe, scalable deployment of robotic delivery.Prior to Serve, Yariel led legislative strategy at Cruise across Texas and the Southeastern U.S., supporting the rollout of autonomous vehicles and electric mobility initiatives. His earlier career includes nearly a decade with the City of Miami, where he managed public engagement and neighborhood infrastructure programs—experience that continues to shape his community-focused approach to innovation.Yariel is known for bridging the gap between emerging technology and public trust, bringing an equity-driven lens to transportation policy and working to ensure new mobility solutions benefit all communities. He holds a Master of Public Administration from Florida International University and has contributed to housing and youth development efforts through advisory board service. At the forefront of autonomous mobility policy, Yariel continues to advocate for solutions that are innovative, safe, and built to support the needs of growing communities.
