Ytve Guerrera is a recognized leader in traffic engineering in South Florida. With over 25 years of experience in transportation engineering, planning, traffic operations, and safety, she specializes in concept design development and project management. Ytve has worked closely with government agencies, including FDOT, GMX, Miami-Dade County DTPW, Miami-Dade County TPO, and local municipalities, to enhance safety, mobility, and accessibility for all roadway users.Her expertise spans conventional arterial and intersection traffic operations and safety analyses, with a focus on traffic and safety studies for major Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Studies and Interchange Access Requests (IARs). As Assistant Project Manager for the SR 836/Dolphin Expressway Southwest Extension (Kendall Parkway), she contributed to an innovative 14-mile expansion project extending Miami-Dade County’s east-west corridor. Ytve has seen her work come to life, including the SR 874 Don Shula Expressway/Killian Parkway Interchange and the SR 836/Dolphin Expressway Extension from NW 107th Avenue to NW 137th Avenue.
