Petter Hauffman
As an architect and urban innovator, I’ve led or contributed to over 660 projects globally—ranging from award-winning architecture to interactive city-scale simulations. My passion lies in shaping the transition from analog to digital cities, a shift that is not just technological but deeply human. How we live, move, work, and connect is being rewritten—and design must be at the core of this change.Through my company UCity, I collaborate with cities like San José and Tampere to build AI‑driven digital twins, AR experiences, and participatory tools that give citizens a voice in shaping the future. These are not just apps—they are bridges between urban systems and human stories.I believe this transformation must be co-led by technologists and urbanists. While tech companies often drive innovation, they rarely consider the long-term social and spatial consequences. My role is to link cutting-edge tools with grounded urban knowledge.I lead with curiosity and experimentation, moving between hierarchical and non-hierarchical structures to foster diverse perspectives and collective intelligence. Whether I’m prototyping a chatbot for civic feedback or visualizing future mobility hubs, my goal is to make cities more inclusive, more adaptive—and more alive.
